MOVIE  POSTERS

30 Years in the Spotlight:
A Cinematic Anniversary Campaign for Mark Young Construction

Project Summary

To celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary, I created a cinematic poster campaign inspired by iconic films from 30 years ago—featuring employees as the stars. The result was a bold, culture-driven campaign that honored the company’s legacy while spotlighting its people.

The Challenge

The company wanted to celebrate 30 years in business in a way that felt memorable and meaningful—not like a typical corporate milestone recap.

The goal was to:

  • Highlight employees as the foundation of success

  • Create excitement around the anniversary

  • Maintain strong brand alignment

  • Deliver high-impact visuals for large-scale print

My Role

I led the following from concept to production, including:

  • Creative direction

  • Employee photography

  • Poster design and layout

  • Brand integration

  • Print production management

The Approach

The concept reimagined iconic movie posters from 30 years ago, casting employees as the lead characters.

Process included:

  • Shot planning and execution

  • Using Adobe Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop I edited photos and pieced together the movie posters

  • Custom typography

  • Large-format print preparation

The Solution

A series of full-size, movie-inspired posters featuring real team members as the “stars.” Each design blended cinematic drama with the company’s brand story, resulting in bold, immersive visuals displayed throughout the office and the anniversary celebration.

Results & Impact

  • Strong internal engagement and excitement

  • Positive leadership and employee feedback

  • Elevated brand pride and team recognition

  • A visually striking celebration of 30 years built on people
